I’ve led several tatreez workshops to the New Brunswick, NJ community, and participants donated their stitch sample for a tapestry I quilted together in the Southern quilting tradition.

The tapestry was used as a centerpiece for a martyr commemoration activity, in collaboration with ATL Radical Art.
We asked participants, “What do you dream to liberate Palestine?” and “What does a liberated Palestine look like?”
These notes were hung from red ribbons suspended from the ceiling.
